    General information

    • Good knowledge of the Viennese waltz is required - left and right waltzes with half turns along a straight line.
    • Age limit: born in 1999 - 2009
    • Ball ticket price: EUR 55,-
    • Ladies receive a hair ornament
    • Dress code for the couple on January 31, 2026: white dress, white long gloves, white shoes as well as tuxedo or tailcoat, white gloves, black shoes
    • Particpation at the initial dancing rehearsal and the attendance at the follow-up rehearsals are mandatory in order to be chosen for the opening committee.

    Initial dancing and follow-up rehearsal dates

    • Initial dancing: Monday, 17th November 2025 from 6.00 p.m.
    • Ball rehearsal dates: on two evenings in the week before the ball at the Vienna Hofburg, dates to be announced. The dress rehearsal takes place at noon on the day of the ball, 12am.
