two reasons to celebrate: the 75th anniversary of the Vienna Doctors’ Ball and the 25th anniversary
of Pink Ribbon. Together, these two anniversaries represent 100 years of commitment to health, awareness and solidarity.

What would a traditional Viennese
ball be without its grand opening? To mark our 75th anniversary, we are once again looking for young ladies and gentlemen
who would like to join us in creating one of the most beautiful and moving moments of the ball. The entrance of the opening
committee into the magnificent halls of the Vienna Hofburg is a special moment every year: in 2027, it will form part of a
historic anniversary. Those who attend are not simply opening a ball, but are becoming part of 75 years of Viennese Doctors’
Ball history.
A tiara in the spirit of the Pink Ribbon
In 2027, too, our young ladies can look forward
to a very special memento: Each lady on the opening committee will receive a tiara, specially crafted for the anniversary
ball and in keeping with the theme, which she may, of course, keep after the ball. This exclusive edition from Viennastrass,
inspired by the Pink Ribbon, will be a sparkling accessory for a ball night that combines elegance and joie de vivre with
an important message: awareness, solidarity and support for those affected by breast cancer and their families.

Anyone
wishing to take part in this special event should register early. The event is open to dance couples born between 2000 and
2010 who have a good command of the Viennese waltz. The compulsory audition requires the left- and right-hand waltzes with
half turns along a straight line. The formal dress code for the ball is traditional and elegant: a white dress with long white
gloves, or a morning suit or tailcoat with white gloves.
